DIY Altiods Survival Kit

Some of you know that I used to use these as survival kit when I was a kid. I would fill them up with water to keep just in case I found myself in a dehydration panic. I think I should upgrade to one of these now, or at least use those new oversized Tic Tac boxes.

Happy Birthday, Basi!!!

Basi celebrated her 25th birthday at Panda World in Fuzhou, the capital city of east China's Fujian Province. What's so amazing about this is the average life of a panda is 13 years. She had some cake, fruit and flowers, chilled out in her cave and took some awesome pictures. Check them out through the link.

Well maybe taking the train through France won't be so bad

Over the next 5 years French fasion icon, Christian Lacroix will be renovating some France's high speed trains. All the trains on the Atlantic route and other on a new eastern France route will gain the Lacroix touch.

It's official...

the terrorist have won. What really gets me about this boneheaded and irresponsible response to this latest threat is how our supposed leaders are running scared and hysterical. I would think that between the two of the biggest superpowers in the world right now that we would have a much more nuanced system for determining a threat from a non-threat?

Not to get to cliche but I think this quote needs to be revisited.

Mark my words...

If this car ever goes from concept to production I will do whatever it takes, WHATEVER IT TAKES, to get one. My morals will have been thrown out like yesterday's trash. FYI, this is the concept re-creation of Suzuki's first car the 1955 Suzulight. Grrr.

The Death of Garfield

On October 23, 1989, Jim Davis started a Garfield storyline that is a little different from the usual lasagne-obsessed cat humor that came before. A depressing six strips which some people have theorized was the death of Garfield. If it is or not it's pretty damn dark for weekly comic that't been light-hearted and not funny for quite some time. I think Jimbo lost hos shit there for a second.
