Nobody Bothers Me

This is a commercial from the early 80's/late 70's from the mid-atlantic area. My brother and myself used this tune to amuse ourselves endlessly. Now it's come back as internet fodder. I love technology.

steampunk laptop

Since Caner was all excited about learning the word 'steampunk'. I thought I would show him what it's really about, not some jerks on tall bikes. It's a fully functional laptop with a wooden space bar and morse code style trackball. Here's the link for the translated but mangled version of that page.

All Hail RuBot II

Don't let the politeness fool you, RuBot is a cold killing machine. Why do you think there is a RuBot II? There used to be another kid. However, that kid along with 37 other souls perished trying to stop RuBot and his puzzle solving madness. Never trust robots.

Techshop rocks

I love this I wish that there were one of these in Chicago. Techshop is a facility with tools and equipment that you can use. Also, if for some reason like me you don't know how to use a spot welder they have classes for all of their equipment. You'll be building the robot of your dreams in no time.

Ron Mueck

Ron Mueck is a hyperrealist sculptor working in Britain. Working first as a puppeteer in Australia he worked on children's shows and on the movie the Labyrinth. He moved to Britain and worked making props for the advertising. He then moved then to fine art making super-detailed sculpture in disporportionate sizes. These things are so awesome.

Fart lands guy in jail.

If this is the way it is going to be in the hall of justice I know a few people who should stay on the straight and narrow. You know who you are.

Get ready to strap a machine gun to the top of your car.

Because it won't be long until the computers realize that we are the ones screwing everything up.

Oh Hell Yeah Fried Coke, Bitches!

One of my rules is that everything is better deep-fried and there are some that are putting that rule to the test. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce, Deep-Fried Coke. Apparently, this is Coke batter deep-fried and then drizzled with Coke syrup and covered with whipped cream and cherries.

My hat goes off to Abel Gonzales Jr, inventor of this wondrous concotion. I may now have a reason to go to Texas, as this will be served at State Fair of Texas. Birthplace of the corndog.

Turnover e-reader

This is the incredibly sexy Turnover e-reader by Timothy Yeoh. It has flexible 'pages' that allow your to bookmark areas by folding the corners and recreates the experience of reading a book with just two flex screens.

However this is just a concept[again] so while it blows the Sony e-reader out of the water design wise. Timmy is going to have to find somebody to actually make this thing. Let's hope he does.

The Snail That Ate Barcelona

40 years ago off the stormy coast of Spain a midair crash between a bomber and refueling plane released 3 undetonated hydrogen bombs. The resulting hazardous materials were cleaned up and sent to the US. But were they? Now something slimy and radioactive is oozing up from the ground!

O.K. fortunately[or unfortunately] there are no huge, radioactive snails terrorizing the spanish coast. There are however, radioactive snails inthe ground where this accident happened spanish and american officials are looking into it as we speak.
