Beyond The Trailer Park
Great essay from Lynn Becker on the state of modulat housing. Although, a little depressing because as I have suspected, she says most of the new modular housing is best suited for those with money, not as a affordable housing. Why is it so hard? All I want is this.
Cartridge Styles
Felt It!
All hail the vaginad!
Well first, there's Tom Ford's new ad which makes no attempt at subtlety. Then there's Vulva. I can't believe that this isn't a joke. Well, it is a joke but the proprietors don't know it yet. For maximum hilarity and creepiness check out the "trailer" for this "erotic scent".

Lichtfaktor
This is Lichtfaktor's film "Star Wars vs Star Trek" done for skymovies. Lichtfaktor is from Germany started out as VJs and moved on to light graffiti. Light graffiti has been all over the place these days thanks to the latest Sprint commercial, you can also watching the 'making of' commercial. Done by Ad agency Goodby, Siverstein and Partners who were also responsible for that HP campaign with the all the wacky frames.
Speaking of Robots
Nobody seems to know what this thing does besides look cool and bust some badass disco moves. Sony release this thing now!
BTW, the song is Skitzo Dancer (Justice Remix) by Scenario Rock in case you were wondering. But from what I have listened to this is as good as they get and most of that is the Justice touch.
Keepon Keepin' On
Sometimes I forget to post things and then they will come back around throught some different channel and I say to myself, "This should've been on Canrdreams." This is the youtube video that started it all, Keepon the robot dancing to Spoon's "I tunr my camera on". Not on;y setting the internet ablaze with it's crazy cuteness it also caught the attention of Spoon, who used Keepon and developer Hideki Kozima in their video "Dont't you evah" [which if it isn't obvious is sponsored by WIRED].
Keepon isn't all cuteness and smooth dance moves. It's developement platform for child social development and communication. If you want to learn the nerdier side of Keepon you can find more at the Infanoid Project
